By-Elections for Local Govt in 25 Districts of Balochistan Underway

Quetta: By-elections for local government in twenty-five districts of Balochistan are underway.

According to Radio Pakistan, polling started at 8:00 a.m. and will continue till 5:00 p.m. without any break.

A total of 167 candidates are contesting for fifty general ward seats, while the total number of registered voters is 43,784. For this purpose, 60 polling stations and 138 polling booths have been set up across the 25 districts. All necessary electoral and security arrangements have been finalized.
