Calculator Use Approved for Certain PMS-2023 Exams

Lahore: Candidates sitting for the PMS-2023 optional papers will be permitted to use non-programmable calculators in select subjects, offering potential ease for certain examinees.

According to a statement by Public Service Commission Punjab, the allowance applies to specific exams set to take place early next year. These include Physics on January 28, 2025, within Group ‘D’, and a series of exams on February 1, 2025, covering Commerce, Economics, and Business Administration, all categorized under Group ‘A’.

Additionally, candidates taking Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, and Principle of Engineering, all within Group ‘C’, on February 3, 2025, can also utilize non-programmable calculators.

The commission has outlined the dates and specific subject groups where the use of calculators is sanctioned, aiming to ensure clarity for participants in the PMS-2023 examination process.
