Campaign against power theft yields substantial results

A vigorous campaign against power theft launched by government across the country is yielding substantial results with more than one hundred and fourteen billion rupees recovered, so far.

During current month, relevant institutions collected more than one billion rupees from electricity thieves in Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Multan, Peshawar, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Quetta and other parts of the country.

One hundred and twenty three electricity thieves have been arrested by the relevant institutions during the month.
