Capital Territory Police arrest 30 outlaws; wine and narcotics seized

Islamabad, July 29, 2015 (PPI-OT): Islamabad Police have arrested 30 outlaws from various areas of the city besides recovering 1.150 kilogram hashish, 250 gram heroin and 23 wine bottles from their possession, According to details, SP Rural zone Yasir Afridi constituted special teams to arrest those involved in immoral activities.

These teams led by SHO Lohibher police station Inspector Fayyaz Ahmed Tanoli along with ASI Ehsan Ullah and others raided in House # 215 St # 11 Bahria Town Phase 6 and arrested six persons involved in immoral activities. They were identified as Asim Nadeem, Ali Abbas, Wasif Abbas, Junaid Awan, Wahab Abbas and female Maria Khan. Police team also arrested seven other persons Asif, Waseem Khursheed, Fatima, Kiran Salman, Nayla and Shanda involved in immoral activities.

Ramna Police arrested three Atiq, Obaka and lady Fiza Batool and recovered a total of 20 wine bottles, 1.150 kilogram hashish and 250 gram heroin from their possession. Bhara Kahu police nabbed Sagheer, Noman, Ishtiaq, Munir and Mubarik Maqsood for having wine. Sabzi Mandi police arrested eight persons Awais, Muhammad Khan, Rashid, Bismillah Khan, Sajjad, Abdul Ghaffar, Zahid and Zia-ul-Haq involved in blocking way of pedestrians at Mandi More.

Nilor police arrested Faraz and recovered one wine bottle from him. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. Furthermore, police team arrested seven professional alm-seekers from various area of the city. Senior Superintendent of Police Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to accelerate their efforts to curb activities of anti-social elements.
