CDWP Clears Seven Projects Worth 116 Billion Rupees Under Uraan Pakistan Initiative

Islamabad: The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has approved seven projects valued at approximately 116 billion rupees as part of the Uraan Pakistan Initiative. The meeting was presided over by Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, five of these projects, with a total cost of 21.590 billion rupees, received approval from the CDWP. Additionally, two significant projects, collectively worth 94.301 billion rupees, have been forwarded to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) for further evaluation.

These projects are in line with the government’s overarching development vision and reform agenda under the URAAN Pakistan Initiative. This initiative aims to enhance human capital, modernize governance, improve infrastructure, and promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
