Chairman Senate Stresses Need to Deepen Pak-Qatar Ties

Islamabad: Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, has stressed the need to further deepen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Qatar through enhanced trade, investment, and socio-political cooperation. He was talking to a Qatari delegation led by prominent businessman and senior member of the Royal Family of Qatar, Sheikh Nayef bin Eid Al Thani, in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chairman highlighted Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting peace and dialogue at the global and regional levels. He extended an invitation to Qatari investors to explore opportunities in Pakistan, particularly in the fields of tourism, agriculture, energy, and other sectors of mutual interest.

Sheikh Nayef Bin Eid Al Thani acknowledged Pakistan’s role in promoting peace, dialogue, development, and regional cooperation. The Qatari delegation expressed keen interest in exploring investment opportunities in Pakistan.
