Chairman WAPDA Visits Mohmand Dam Project Site

Islamabad: Chairman Water and Power Development Authority Lt Gen retired Muhammad Saeed visited the site of Mohmand Dam Hydropower Project on Friday: He reviewed in detail the construction progress on various work fronts, which included spillway, powerhouse, and main dam.

According to Radio Pakistan, the chairman’s visit was aimed at assessing the on-ground situation and ensuring that the construction milestones are being met. The visit underscores the importance of the project in enhancing the country’s water and power resources.

The Mohmand Dam Hydropower Project is a significant development in the region, expected to contribute substantially to the water storage capacity and electricity generation when completed. The ongoing construction work is being closely monitored to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
