Chief Justice of Pakistan directs IGPS Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan and Islamabad to withdraw police security of Non Entitled people within 24 hours

Islamabad, April 19, 2018 (PPI-OT): The Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has taken notice in the Court at Supreme Court Branch Registry Peshawar regarding large number of person who are not entitled to police security, have been provided the security. Taking notice of the issue Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan has directed IGPs Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan and Islamabad to withdraw the police security within 24 hours of those people who are not entitled, and submit affidavit to the effect duly attested by Oath Commissioner on next date of hearing i.e. 23.04.2018 at Islamabad. Moreover, IG KP has submitted his report in Court today and gave undertaking that security of non entitled people will be withdrawn today till 6:00 p.m.
