Chief Secretary Balochistan Reviews Administrative Performance and Accountability Measures

Quetta: Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan convened a meeting of the Secretaries Committee, focusing on administrative efficiency and accountability in various government departments. Issues such as the file tracking system, Integrated Performance Management System (IPMS), organization management module, and officer attendance were key points of discussion. The meeting saw the participation of prominent officials, including Additional Chief Secretary Development Hafiz Abdul Basit, Additional Chief Secretary Home Shahab Ali Shah, Chairman CMIT Abdul Saboor Kakar, Senior MBR Qambar Dashti, along with all secretaries.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Chief Secretary Khan emphasized the importance of field visits by secretaries and the prompt resolution of issues identified in their reports. He highlighted the responsibility of the provincial government to address public grievances and ensure the provision of basic services. The Chief Secretary instructed officers to maintain regular attendance in district offices, noting improvements in provincial office attendance but underscoring the need for further enhancement. He warned against negligence and lack of interest in duty performance, stating that such attitudes would not be tolerated. Additionally, he directed the initiation of the auction process for outdated government vehicles.
