Child’s Body Found After Suspected Leopard Attack in Kulgam

Srinagar: The body of a child, who had been missing following a suspected leopard attack, was found in Brinal Lummer village in the Kulgam district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to Kashmir Media Service, the victim, Saharan Yousuf, the son of Mohammad Yousuf, went missing late Wednesday night. Local residents and the boy’s family immediately suspected a leopard attack after the child disappeared.

In response, a search operation was launched, and the child’s body was recovered by search teams. The incident has sparked concerns among the local community regarding wildlife encroachment into populated areas.
