Chinese Delegation Shows Interest in Investing in Pakistan’s IT Sector

Shanghai: A three-member delegation of Founder and Chairman of GuoDong Group, led by Lu Jie, called on Minister for IT and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, in Shanghai, China. The delegation expressed strong interest in investing in Pakistan’s IT sector, with a focus on telecommunication towers, data centers, and cloud computing infrastructure.

According to Radio Pakistan, Lu Jie also conveyed interest in expanding to new energy domains, including EV charging stations, smart city solutions, and advanced material manufacturing within Pakistan. Welcoming the proposals, the Federal Minister assured the delegation of the Government’s full support to help realize these investment initiatives under Prime Minister’s vision of Digital Nation Pakistan.
