Chinese Firms to Establish Textile Manufacturing Plants in Pakistan

Islamabad: In a move set to enhance Pakistan’s textile industry, two prominent Chinese companies have declared plans to establish manufacturing plants in the country. These facilities are aimed at producing raw materials for the textile sector, promising an infusion of investment and technology.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the decision by these companies is a direct result of the efforts by Pakistan’s Special Investment Facilitation Council. The council’s facilitation has paved the way for investments worth millions of dollars, which are expected to lower the costs of raw materials for local manufacturers and introduce advanced technology to the sector.
