Chinese Govt Allocates Over Rs1 Billion for Water Filtration Plants in AJK

Muzaffarabad: The Chinese government has committed to providing over one billion rupees for the installation of 150 water filtration plants across Azad Kashmir. This initiative aims to ensure access to clean drinking water for residents in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, the project is part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) funded projects. The installation of these water filtration plants will prioritize key institutions, including postgraduate colleges, district headquarters hospitals, prisons, and university campuses throughout Azad Kashmir. This focus underscores the importance of providing essential resources to educational and medical institutions, as well as other critical infrastructure in the area.
