CII Promotes Inter-Religious Harmony in Azad Kashmir: AJK President

Muzaffarabad: President Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Ch stated that the Council of Islamic Ideology is providing guidance to the government as per the Islamic shari’a and also promoting inter-religious harmony in the State. He was addressing an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Islamic Ideology of Azad Kashmir in Muzaffarabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the AJK President appreciated the members of the Council for their knowledge and deep understanding of religion. He highlighted that following the thirteenth amendment in Act 1974, the Council has been given the same constitutional status as the Council of Islamic Ideology of Pakistan.
