Cleanliness Operations Underway in Punjab and Peshawar for Eid-ul-Azha

Lahore: In Punjab, the largest cleanliness operation for Eid-ul-Azha is actively taking place across all cities and towns. Over one hundred and thirty thousand workers are participating in the efforts under the Suthra Punjab initiative, utilizing machinery to maintain a clean environment for the public during the festive period.

According to Radio Pakistan, a control room has been established in Lahore to monitor all districts, under the supervision of Zeeshan Rafique, the provincial minister for local bodies. This ensures the operation’s smooth execution and effective management.

In Peshawar, a similar cleanliness campaign is underway to ensure the prompt disposal of animal offal and remains. Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar has prepared by organizing essential equipment and machinery, as well as designating specific spots for efficient action.
