Cleanliness, Safe Drinking Water Key to Better Healthcare: Mustafa

Karachi: Federal minister for National Health Services Mustafa Kamal has called for promoting the healthcare system by ensuring cleanliness, improving sewerage systems, and provision of potable drinking water. Addressing the inaugural ceremony of a digitized health center in Karachi today, Mustafa Kamal said the government is working to turn the sick-care system into a healthcare system to ensure a healthy society and reduce the growing burden on hospitals.

According to Radio Pakistan, he further emphasized the importance of vaccinating children to protect them from thirteen diseases that can be avoided through proper vaccination. Kamal highlighted that a focus on preventive measures such as cleanliness and vaccination is crucial to transforming the healthcare landscape of the country.
