CM Balochistan Directs Authorities to Revive Pasni Fish Harbour

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has announced ongoing efforts to enhance coastal development, boost the fisheries sector, and strengthen the province’s marine economy. He emphasized these objectives while chairing a meeting focused on the restoration and operationalization of the Pasni Fish Harbour.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, the Chief Minister expressed dissatisfaction over illegal trawling activities affecting the local fishing community. He instructed relevant agencies to safeguard fishermen’s rights and to take firm action against illegal practices. Additionally, directives were issued to ensure the revival of the Pasni Fish Harbour within a set timeframe, underscoring the government’s commitment to the region’s economic development.
