CM Bugti Announces Rs50m for Digital Initiatives of Balochistan Police

Islamabad: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has announced that the Balochistan Police is undergoing modernization with the integration of advanced digital facilities.

According to Radio Pakistan, the chief minister made this announcement during the inaugural ceremony of the Balochistan Police’s Digital Initiatives in Quetta. The initiatives include the introduction of eight new smartphone applications designed to enhance citizen access to the police and other law enforcement agencies.

Among these applications, a notable one is specifically designed for women, aiming to improve their safety in workplaces, on roads, and in other public spaces. Mir Sarfraz Bugti further committed 50 million rupees to support the enhancement and expansion of these digital initiatives and smartphone applications for the Balochistan Police.
