CM Maryam Sets New Benchmark for Law & Order, Public Service During Muharram

Islamabad: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has set a new record in ensuring law and order, cleanliness, and public service during Muharram.

According to Radio Pakistan, for the first time in Punjab’s history, the largest security and facilitation arrangements were made for Muharram processions and gatherings. The press release stated that over 108,000 police personnel have been deployed across the province. It mentioned that unprecedented coordination is underway between the administration, police, Rescue 1122, and other departments. Control rooms have been set up at the provincial, divisional, and district levels for 24/7 monitoring.
