Punjab: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said the government is committed to providing maximum opportunities of quality education to the youth. She was addressing a ceremony in Arifwala today to confer the status of Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence on ten schools in Punjab.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister said the network of Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence will be expanded to every tehsil of the province. She mentioned the launch of the Honhaar Scholarship Programme aimed at supporting deserving students. Additionally, she highlighted that ten thousand government schools have been upgraded across the province over the past two years.
Maryam Nawaz also noted that the School Meal Programme has resulted in a significant increase in student enrolment, underscoring the government’s commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for the youth in Punjab.
