Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and a delegation of the Pakistan Airports Authority discussed improving Sindh’s aviation infrastructure, passenger facilities, flight security, and the educational sector at a meeting in Karachi today.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting reviewed projects for Sukkur, Karachi, and Hyderabad airports, as well as the establishment of an aviation university. The Sindh Chief Minister assured the Pakistan Airports Authority of his government’s full cooperation in this regard. He directed the relevant departments to facilitate land provision, road connectivity, and development-related matters.
The meeting was informed that the proposed new Sukkur airport will serve as a regional gateway for Upper Sindh and surrounding areas.
