CM Punjab Announces to Launch ‘Aghosh’ Program for Pregnant Women, Mothers

Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif is going to launch a unique and first-of-its-kind Aghosh program, under which mothers of children under the age of two and pregnant women will receive financial assistance.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the first phase, the program will provide financial assistance to mothers of newborns and pregnant women in thirteen districts. The initiative is designed to improve healthcare facilities in underdeveloped areas, ensuring that both mother and child can start a healthy life.
