CM Punjab Approves Special Package for Students of Flood-Hit Areas

Islamabad: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved a special package for students in flood-hit areas.

According to Radio Pakistan, under the package, the semester fee for all students in flood-affected regions including Muzaffargarh, Multan, Lodhran, Vehari, Sialkot, Gujrat, Chiniot, and Kasur has been waived. Additionally, new students enrolling in BS First Year programs have been exempted from paying any fees.

The government has also extended the registration dates in universities and the application deadline for the Honhaar scholarship, specifically targeting students in these flood-impacted areas to ensure they have the opportunity to continue their education without financial burden.
