CM Punjab Directs for Comprehensive Measures to Tackle Risk of Urban Flooding

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed for comprehensive measures to tackle the risk of urban flooding following continued rainfall across the province. In a directive today, she emphasized the need for swift drainage, particularly in low-lying areas prone to water accumulation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz also directed for the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority.
