CM Punjab Directs Motorcyclists to Install Safety Rods on Bikes During Basant

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed motorcyclists to install safety rods on their bikes to prevent injuries caused by kite strings during the Basant season. Talking to citizens during an interaction at Liberty Chowk in Lahore today, she emphasized the importance of safety measures during the festive period.

According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz Sharif stated that there is no ban on riding motorcycles during Basant. However, she highlighted that motorcycles without safety rods will face impoundment as a measure to ensure public safety.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif reiterated that these precautionary measures are solely for the protection of citizens and are being implemented in the larger public interest.
