CM Punjab Distributes Laptops, Scholarships to Students of Multan and Bahawalpur

Lodhran: Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has announced that five hundred thousand youth will be provided skills training in various fields to prepare them for employment opportunities abroad. Addressing the ceremony for the distribution of laptops and meritorious scholarships among students of Multan and Bahawalpur divisions in Lodhran, she said skilled workers would also be supported in obtaining visas and air tickets for jobs overseas.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister further announced that one hundred thousand electric bikes would be given to students, and revealed that the first AI university is being established in Lahore to promote advanced education and innovation.

Under the programme, a total of 9,005 students of Multan and Bahawalpur divisions received laptops. This includes 1,295 students of government colleges, 6,655 university students, and 1,055 students of medical and dental colleges.
