CM Punjab Orders Arrest of Individuals Spreading Hateful Content on Social Media

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting in Lahore on Tuesday in connection with preparations for Muharram-ul-Haram. On the occasion, she directed for the prompt arrest of individuals spreading hateful content on social media.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister also directed for uninterrupted power supply during Ashura processions and gatherings. In a move to provide timely healthcare during the events, she directed for setting up of mobile clinics and field hospitals near Ashura gatherings.

Maryam Nawaz called for effective traffic management plans to facilitate public movement.
