CM Punjab Orders Enforcement of Traffic Rules in Major Cities

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to ensure strict enforcement of traffic rules in major cities, and introduce sustainable reforms for improving traffic management. Chairing a special meeting on traffic management, she expressed concern over unregulated traffic flow and stressed the need to ensure strict adherence to lane discipline.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister decided to develop major roads into model traffic corridors and issued directions for immediate steps to improve traffic regulation in urban centres.
