CM Punjab Orders Sewerage, Drainage Projects in Over 3,500 Villages

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to execute sewerage, drainage, and paved street projects in more than 3,500 villages across the province. She presided over a meeting on rural development in Lahore today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister also directed the authorities to introduce a community-based organization mechanism for the development of model villages. In a separate meeting held in Lahore, the Punjab Chief Minister instructed the authorities to open the CM Electric Bike Scheme portal this week.

She approved the gradual expansion of the CM Electric Bike Scheme to include government employees, public sector departments, the general public, and delivery riders.
