CM Punjab Reaffirms Commitment to Maintain Law and Order in Province

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has reaffirmed commitment to ensuring law and order across the province. She was addressing an emergency meeting with senior police officers in Lahore today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister emphasized that incidents like murder, robbery, kidnapping, and enforced disappearances are unacceptable. In her address, she highlighted the importance of maintaining public safety and order, urging law enforcement agencies to take strict measures against criminal activities.

The meeting in Lahore saw the participation of key law enforcement officials who discussed strategies to combat rising crime rates. The Chief Minister instructed the police to enhance vigilance and improve response times to incidents. She also assured the officials of complete support from the provincial government in their efforts to maintain peace and security.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif reiterated the government’s zero-tolerance policy towards crime and expressed her determination to protect the rights and safety of all citizens in Punjab.
