CM Punjab Visits Uch Sharif, Bhalla Jhallan Safety Dams in Bahawalpur

Bahawalpur: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited Uch Sharif and Bhalla Jhallan safety dams in Bahawalpur today. She reviewed ongoing relief activities in the flood-hit areas and interacted with the flood-affected people, especially women, in the flood relief camp.

According to Radio Pakistan, the District Administration Bahawalpur briefed the Punjab Chief Minister about the relief operation. Chief Minister Nawaz emphasized that the Punjab Government stands by the flood-affected people and will compensate all their losses. She assured that cooked food, ration, and other basic facilities are being provided in the relief camps.

During her visit, Chief Minister Nawaz distributed cheques among the flood-affected women in the flood relief camps, demonstrating the government’s commitment to assisting those impacted by the disaster.
