CM Punjab Vows to Provide Affordable Bread, Flour to People

Islamabad: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has reaffirmed the government’s resolve to provide affordable bread and flour to people. Presiding over a meeting in Lahore, she directed the adoption of modern cultivation techniques to ensure the availability of off-season vegetables.

According to Radio Pakistan, she also ordered immediate action against price control magistrates found deceiving the public, with such officials to be dismissed from service and sent to jail. The Chief Minister also announced that she will personally conduct surprise visits to fruit and vegetable markets.
