COAS Reaffirms Commitment to Combat Terrorism at Quetta Funeral.

Quetta: The Namaz-e-Janaza for the Shuhada, who lost their lives in a suicide blast at Quetta Railway Station, was held at Quetta Garrison.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the funeral was attended by Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Nishaan-e-Imtiaz-Military, alongside Federal Minister of Interior Mohsin Naqvi, Governor and Chief Minister of Balochistan, provincial ministers, and numerous military and civilian officials. Following the funeral, the Chief of Army Staff visited CMH Quetta to meet the injured from the tragic incident.

During his visit, General Syed Asim Munir stated that terrorism will not be tolerated, reaffirming the nation’s resolve and commitment to eradicating this threat. He emphasized that this mission would be pursued with full national resolve and collective determination.

The Chief of Army Staff highlighted the necessity of steadfast support from the nation, combined with efforts from military and civil institutions, to ensure a peaceful and prosperous future for the country.
