Congress Accuses BJP of Cornering IIOJK, Aims for Electoral Victory in Rajouri

Jammu: During a recent campaign event, Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member Imran Pratapgarhi criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) policies in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, claiming that the party has cornered the region through its actions.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the statements were made at a rally in the Rajouri assembly constituency, part of a joint campaign by the Congress and the National Conference. Pratapgarhi accused the BJP of disseminating falsehoods and expressed confidence that the Congress-National Conference alliance would secure governance in the upcoming regional elections.

The rally underscores the intensifying political activity in the region as parties gear up for the forthcoming elections, with each faction vying to present their blueprint for the territory’s future.
