Mumbai: Maharashtra Congress has said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is insulting voters, democracy, and the Constitution with its controversial ‘vote-jihad’ slogan in the ongoing state Assembly elections.
According to Kashmir Media Service, State Congress President Nana F. Patole, addressing an MVA-INDIA bloc rally, criticized the BJP for using divisive slogans and backing candidates with questionable credentials. Patole also condemned the BJP’s failure to fulfill its promises to farmers, citing the disparity between the Minimum Support Price (MSP) and the actual market price for crops like soybeans and cotton.
