Congress Leader Accuses BJP of Neglect and Failure in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu: Taranjit Singh Tony, the General Secretary of the Congress party’s chapter in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), has openly criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government for its inadequacies and failure to address critical issues in the region, leading to a state of despair among the residents.

According to Kashmir Media Service, during a public gathering in Jammu, Tony articulated his concerns about the BJP’s governance, accusing them of neglecting significant issues such as unemployment and the deteriorating economic conditions. He claimed that the party’s focus on divisive politics is exacerbating the situation.

Further, Tony alleged that under BJP’s rule, the region of occupied Jammu and Kashmir has seen a decline in peace and prosperity. He described a grim picture where the residents face misery due to inadequate infrastructure, rising inflation, and scant employment opportunities, painting a stark contrast to the promises made by the ruling party.
