Congress President Kharge Demands PM Modi’s Resignation Over Communal Rhetoric

New Delhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress party, has called for the resignation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of perpetuating Hindu-Muslim rhetoric and fostering societal hatred.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Kharge criticized Modi in a media interview for his daily speeches, which he argues are infused with divisive and hateful rhetoric. Kharge challenged Modi to adhere to his previous statements about leaving public life if he engaged in Hindu-Muslim dialogue, accusing the Prime Minister of dishonesty and failure to acknowledge his errors.

Kharge further questioned Modi’s silence on hate speech and divisive actions within the BJP, suggesting that Modi’s actions and statements contribute to societal division and are indicative of corrupt practices aimed at maintaining power at the expense of societal harmony.
