‘Consensus being evolved on constitutional amendments’

Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said only the parliament has the prerogative to legislate and no democratic force can oppose constitutional amendments

He said this during a meeting with the chairman of the MQM Pakistan and Federal Minister Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui in Karachi regarding the constitutional amendments.

He said consensus is being evolved on proposed constitutional amendments and we have held detailed deliberations in this regard.
