Consular Services in Islamabad Suspended During SCO Summit

Islamabad: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced a temporary suspension of consular services in Islamabad from the 14th to the 17th of this month due to security measures related to the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of Government Meeting.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, while services will be halted in the capital, the Foreign Office ensures that consular operations will continue uninterrupted at its liaison offices in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Gujarat.
