Crackdown on Illegal Modifications in Naseerabad Public Transport

Naseerabad: In response to directives issued by the Chairman of Regional Transport and Commissioner of Naseerabad Division, Moin-ur-Rehman Khan, a targeted operation was conducted to eliminate unauthorized modifications in public transport vehicles. The operation, led by Regional Secretary Transport Noor Ahmed Domki and SP Highways Mohammad Ayub Gola, resulted in 13 wagon drivers voluntarily removing illegal jhanglas from their vehicles. Additionally, 35 drivers were issued written notices to comply with regulations.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, these measures are being executed to prioritize public safety and restore compliance with the Vehicle Ordinance on the N-65 highway. Regional Secretary Transport Naseerabad Division, Noor Ahmed Domki, emphasized that these efforts aim to eradicate the so-called “Jhangla culture” and protect the lives of commuters. He further warned that strict enforcement will continue, with no leniency towards those failing to adhere to the regulations, urging all transport operators to comply to avoid further action.
