Crescent Not Sighted, Eid-ul-Azha to Be Celebrated on June 7

Islamabad: The Zil Hajj 1446 Hijri Crescent has not been sighted in Pakistan. As a result, the first of Zil Hajj will fall on May 29, Thursday. Accordingly, Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated across the country on June 7, Saturday.

According to Radio Pakistan, this announcement was made by Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Moulana Abdul Khabeer Azad following a meeting of the Committee held in Islamabad this evening.
