Crises Unit Activated at MoFA to Ensure Safety of Pakistanis in Iran

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar announced that Pakistan has activated a 24/7 crisis management unit at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This initiative aims to ensure the safety and security of Pakistani nationals and Zaireens residing in Iran.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister shared this information via a post on his X handle. He mentioned that the Pakistan Embassy in Tehran has been instructed to provide comprehensive facilitation to community members and Zaireens. The embassy has also shared a hotline number for assistance, which is (0098)-2166941388.

Meanwhile, the Foreign Office has advised Pakistani Zaireen to reconsider their travel plans to Iran and Iraq due to the evolving security situation in the region.
