Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan reported minor fluctuations in currency exchange rates for the second consecutive day. The rates for the U.S. dollar, euro, British pound, Japanese yen, UAE dirham, and Saudi riyal showed slight variations in buying and selling values.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the U.S. dollar maintained a steady position with a marginal decrease, trading at 277.09 for buying and 278.94 for selling on November 21, 2024, compared to 277.13 and 278.99 the previous day. The euro saw a slight decline, with rates changing from 291.45 and 294.28 to 290.38 and 293.13. The British pound also exhibited a minor decrease in value, with rates moving from 349.97 and 353.30 to 348.56 and 351.83.
The Japanese yen remained stable with buying rates at 1.77 and selling at 1.82, showing minor adjustments from the day before. The UAE dirham and Saudi riyal experienced negligible differences, with the dirham at 75.32 for buying and 76.01 for selling, and the riyal at 73.56 for buying and 74.23 for selling. The interbank rates also saw slight changes, with the buying rate at 277.96 and the selling rate at 278.16 on November 21, compared to the previous day’s rates of 278.04 and 278.24.
