Currency Exchange Rates Show Little Movement in Pakistan

Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan reported minimal changes in the currency exchange rates on June 16, 2025. According to the data, the US dollar traded at 283.53 for buying and 285.34 for selling, indicating a stable market.

The euro showed slight fluctuations, with a buying rate of 326.11 and a selling rate of 329.70. The British pound was also relatively stable, with rates at 383.17 for buying and 387.14 for selling.

In the Asian currency markets, the Japanese yen was reported at a buying rate of 1.92 and a selling rate of 1.97. Meanwhile, the rates for the United Arab Emirates dirham were 76.97 for buying and 77.75 for selling, with the Saudi riyal trading at 75.23 for buying and 75.97 for selling.

The interbank rates for the US dollar remained steady with a buying rate of 283.17 and a selling rate of 283.37. These figures suggest a calm market with no significant changes in the currency valuations.

The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan compiled this data, which was distributed through its official channel. The stability in the exchange rates reflects the current market conditions and the economic environment in the country.
