Currency Exchange Rates Show Minor Fluctuations as USD Remains Stable

Karachi: The currency exchange rates released by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan on Monday indicate minor fluctuations in the value of major foreign currencies against the Pakistani Rupee. The United States Dollar (USD) maintained stability, with its buying rate at 282.33 and selling rate at 283.20, showing no significant change from previous reports.

The European Euro (EUR) experienced a slight increase, with the buying rate at 328.10 and the selling rate at 330.00. The British Pound (GBP) also saw a minor rise, with buying and selling rates recorded at 378.89 and 380.93, respectively.

The Japanese Yen (JPY) exhibited a small upward trend, with buying and selling rates at 1.87 and 1.93. Meanwhile, the rates for the United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) and the Saudi Riyal (SR) showed marginal increases. The AED was traded at 76.87 for buying and 77.10 for selling, while the SR stood at 75.17 for buying and 75.40 for selling.

In the interbank market, the USD buying rate was 281.62 and the selling rate was 281.82, reflecting stability in the currency’s exchange value.

The figures reflect the ongoing dynamics of the foreign exchange market, influenced by global economic conditions and local economic policies. The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan remains a key source for these updates, providing regular insights into the currency market’s behavior.
