Currency Exchange Rates Show Slight Fluctuations in Major Currencies

Karachi: Currency exchange rates in Pakistan experienced slight changes between November 26 and November 27, 2024, with minor fluctuations observed in the buying and selling rates of major foreign currencies.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the US dollar’s buying rate increased from 277.09 to 277.15, while the selling rate rose from 278.90 to 278.97. The Euro saw a buying rate increase from 289.58 to 289.77, and its selling rate went from 292.35 to 292.51. The British pound showed a buying rate increase from 346.58 to 347.63, with the selling rate moving from 349.89 to 350.95. Meanwhile, the Japanese yen’s buying and selling rates rose from 1.77 to 1.79 and 1.82 to 1.85, respectively.

The exchange rates for the United Arab Emirates dirham and the Saudi riyal remained unchanged over the two days, maintaining buying and selling rates of 75.27 and 75.97 for AED, and 73.52 and 74.18 for SR. The interbank rates also showed a slight increase, with buying rates moving from 277.84 to 277.96 and selling rates from 278.04 to 278.16.
