Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan reported slight variations in currency rates, with the US dollar, euro, and British pound experiencing marginal changes. According to the association, the US dollar was traded at buying and selling rates of 282.33 and 283.20 respectively. Meanwhile, the euro saw buying and selling prices at 328.10 and 330.00.
The British pound recorded buying and selling rates of 378.89 and 380.93. In the Asian currency market, the Japanese yen was noted at 1.87 for buying and 1.93 for selling.
The Arab currencies also displayed small changes. The United Arab Emirates dirham was recorded at 76.87 for buying and 77.10 for selling. The Saudi riyal followed closely with rates of 75.17 and 75.40.
The interbank market rates showed the US dollar trading at 281.66 for buying and 281.86 for selling.
