Dar Highlights Pakistan’s Role in Promoting Gender Equality

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting in Islamabad on Monday to review preparations for the 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women, which Pakistan is set to host next year.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the need for successful organization of the conference through close coordination with the OIC Secretariat and relevant Ministries. Dar highlighted Pakistan’s active role in promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment.

He further noted that the upcoming conference demonstrates the country’s commitment to advancing women’s issues within the OIC framework and on a broader scale.
