Dar Reaffirms Pakistan’s Commitment to Promote Peace in Talks with Egypt

Pakistan: Pakistan and Egypt have expressed hope for a successful next round of talks between Iran and the United States for achieving durable peace in the region and beyond. This came during a telephonic conversation between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty today.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the conversation, they discussed key developments in the regional situation, including the situation in the Gaza Strip. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing all issues, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to promoting peace, stability, and constructive engagement. Both leaders also agreed to remain in contact.
