Dar Reaffirms Pakistan’s Support for Türkiye After Ankara Attack

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed Pakistan’s support and solidarity with Türkiye in the wake of a recent terrorist attack in Ankara. Speaking at Türkiye’s Republic Day reception in Islamabad, Dar emphasized Pakistan’s stance against terrorism and extended congratulations to Türkiye on the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and Türkiye, citing Türkiye’s progress since the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in 1923. He acknowledged Türkiye’s consistent support for Pakistan during times of crisis and stressed the importance of maintaining unity. Dar also reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to the enduring Pak-Turk friendship.
